Tampa Bay: Race 6

- (3) Zip Code Envy 15-1

Last race 46 days ago, average effort, finished ninth. Has lots of speed, loves the distance (10/15 WPS) and track (7/10 WPS). Breezed twice 4F since last race and has one of the best times at the distance. Very competitive race with lots of speed, but, this 5 year old mare has a real good chance at an upset.

Parx: Race 7

- (2) Leftover Sushi 8-1

Last race 29 days ago here, same surface and distance, finished 3rd in a good effort. Has more tspeed than the rest, worked twice since last race, loves the distance (3/5 WS) and track (5/6 WPS), and has the fastest speed at the distance. Should take the lead with an uneventful start and never look back.

Result: Finished 7th

Oaklawn: Race 9

- (3) Bohemian Bo 20-1

Last race 28 days ago, finished finished 11th at 6F, but went vey fast. Today cutting back to 5.5F (1/2 W) and likes the track (7/12 WP). This is a very fast 5 year old that can easily go under 22.0 and 46.0 and should be able to hang on today. Has 2 workouts since last race 8 and 14 days ago.

Result: Finished 2nd: $11.40 - $5.80

Gulfstream: Race 2

- (7) Drink N Wink 8-1

Last race 35 days ago, same track, surface, and distance, finished 4th. Has no wins from 2 attempts and has placed once at the track (1/4 P). Has the best early speed, comparable closing fractions to the rest, breezed 2 weeks ago, rested, should get a relatively easy lead and hang on for the win.

Result: Finished 6th

Tampa Bay: Race 5

- (2) Barbaresco Baby 30-1

Last race 18 days ago at 6.5F, much better than it looks, finished 7th, 20 lengths behind. Today, cutting back to 5.5F where this 4 year old filly is 0 for 7. Does have 6 races at the track (2/6 WP). This filly has tons of speed, a nice post in a large field, and if she breaks uneventfully, will be on or close to the lead. Having gone longer in each of her last 3 races, she's got conditioning, and has a real good chance going gate-to-wire to pull off the upset.

Gulfstream: Race 8

- (5) Fulminate 15-1

Last race 35 days ago on turf, 7.5F, very decent and fast. Today, 5.5F, where she has won once and placed 3 times out of 11 tries. This 6 year old mare has tons of speed and the best time at the distance, very capable of setting fast fractions (21.8 / 44.7) and finishing.

Result: Won: $14.20 - $7.20 - $4.80  (Was 11-1 loading into gate ???)

Keeneland: Race 7

- (1) King Curlin 20-1

Last race 19 days ago at Turfway Park, above average effort. One of two horses here that has won at this distance and likes this track (2/3 P). Has the best time at the distance, and this third race off a layoff should be his best.

Result: Finished 8th

Parx: Race 10

- (1) Big Brown Shoes 15-1

Last race here 3 weeks ago, decent effort at 7F, finished 7th, setting very fast fractions. Today, cutting back to favorite distance (9/24 WPS) and likes the track (9/23 WPS). Needs a clean break, needs the lead which he should get easily as he's the only one here capable of going sub 46.0 for the first 4 F. With a nice rest, conditiononing from last race, cutting back in distance, should go gate-to-wire.

Tampa Bay: Race 4

- (3) Sebastianthe First 8-1

Last race here 22 days ago at same distance and surface, above average effort, finished second. Has equivalent early speed to any in here and by far the best closing fractions. Loves the distance (4/7 PS) and track (3/6 PS). Has great chance to break maiden status today.

Last race 42 days ago at a mile here, decent til the stretch, then faltered to finish 11 lengths behind. Today cutting back to 5F (1/2 W) and has 3 unsuccessful races at the track. Has a really nice 3F work (36.0) 7 days ago, and with the extra conditioning should be there at the end.

Has been away more than 5 months, but, won only race at the distance, has tons of speed, working nicely, should fire...

Gulfstream: Race 3

Last race just over a month ago here, average, finished 7th. Has four unsuccessful attempts at this distance but likes the track (7/16 WPS). Has the best early speed of the group as well as the fastest closing fractions, cutting back in distance, and breezed 5F nicely 19 days ago. Should be ready.

Parx: Race 9

- (3) Tempest Rising 6-1

Last race here 7 days ago at 6.5F, finished 5th, claimed. Cutting back to 6F (1W-1P/6), loves the track (14/28 WPS), has very good early speed and a tremendous late kick which is about 5-10 lengths better than any in here. Should get a nice set up from the speed horses and run them down going away. Pass if odds drift down to less than 4-1.

Result: Finished 7th

Tampa Bay: Race 2

- (6) Set The Pace 8-1

Last race 50 days ago at 7F, finished 3, set very fast fractions, 22.6 - 45.3. Today going longer, loves the distance (9/13 WPS) and has 5 races at the track with only one third place finish. Has worked twice in last 3 weeks at 4F. With her early speed, she should have the lead at the top of the stretch by at least 3-5 lengths, and distance shouldn't be a problem as she has the fastest time at 1 mile 40 yards. Should be a relatively easy win as there are no strong closers to chase this 7 year old mare down.

- (6) Trikitraki 15-1

Last race here 4 weeks ago, same surface and distance, finished 6th. Race was deceivingly good as the closing 3F fraction was excellent. Loves the distance (5/13 WP - 4 wins) and has 2 unsuccessful tries at the track. Breezed 4F 7 days ago. Today, third race off a layoff, has plenty of early tactical speed and with his late kick, should be there at the end.

Result: Finished 11th

Parx: Race 1

- (2) Mended We Stand 10-1

Last race 16 days ago at 6 1/2F, finished 9th, got claimed, much better than it seems, going 23.0 and 46.6. This 5 year old mare has failed at this distance once but does love the track (6/16 WPS), with four wins. Today, with her speed, should get an easy lead and a minimum of 5 lengths advantage at the top of the stretch. This group has no real strong closers. Finally, T. Gallimore has won 7 out of 32 (21.9%) races with first race after a claim.

Result: Won: $10.60 - $3.80 - $3.00
